Hosting and server log files
This website runs on my own server at Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen. When a page is requested, the server automatically processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time of access, the address requested, and browser and operating system details. This is required to deliver the page and to keep it running securely. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The data is not combined with any other data. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or tracking services. There is no Google Analytics, no Tag Manager and no Meta pixel. Fonts are served from my own server, so there is no connection to Google Fonts.
Third-party content is not loaded automatically either. The booking calendar is only loaded once you explicitly click it. Until you do, nothing is transmitted to any third party when you open this page. Details are in the booking section below.
Getting in touch
When you use the contact form, the details you enter (name, email address, optionally company and budget range, and your message) are transmitted to my own automation instance on the server named above and delivered from there to my mailbox. I use this data solely to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or (f) GDPR. Enquiries are deleted once they are settled and no statutory retention periods apply.
Booking a call (Cal.com)
For booking calls I use Cal.com, operated by Cal.com, Inc. The European instance cal.eu is used, so processing takes place inside the EU. The calendar is deliberately not embedded automatically: simply opening this page transmits nothing to Cal.com. Only when you click the "Book a call" button is the calendar loaded, and from that moment Cal.com receives your IP address as well as technical details about your browser and device.
If you then book a slot, Cal.com additionally processes the details you enter in the booking form: name, email address, time zone and your answers to the questions asked there. That data is used to schedule the appointment and send the confirmation, and it is made available to me.
The legal basis for loading the calendar is your consent under § 25 (1) TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you give by clicking. The legal basis for handling the appointment itself is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time by reloading the page and not clicking the calendar. If you would rather not use Cal.com at all, the contact form reaches me just as well. The provider's privacy notice is at cal.com/privacy.
Links to external sites
This website links to clients' sites and to my own shop. No data is transmitted to those providers before you click. Following a link takes you off this website, and the privacy policy of the site in question applies.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Write to the email address above to exercise them. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.
Language
This is a translation provided for convenience. In case of doubt, the German version at /datenschutz applies.
